The search continues to intensify out on the barrier beach between Jones Beach and Rober Moses State Park, the FBI is playing a bigger role with technology and the family members joining in the search for clues.

"We made up fliers pased them out went door to door we actually found a pice of her jewerly which was an earing." said Sarra Gilbert she is holding out hope the 24 year old will be found, it was her frantic 911calls last May that lead to a search of this area that turned up nothing then, but when investigators came back in December 4 bodies were uncovered and more recently 6 more, none them Shannan Gilbert. Police have not labeled the John who arranged for Gilbert to come out here for sex as a suspect. The family of Melissa Barthelemy believes the serial killer taunted them after their daughter went missing.... calls from her cell phone after were placed to Bartelemy's younger sister Amanda.

"she was totally distraught I mean sheis 15 years old her sister was her best friend they talked everyday or texted everyday." said Lynn Barthelemy

A second fly over by an FBI plane capable of zeroing in on valuable clues and hidden remains, was post phoned today because of technical issues.

"they have advance imaging technologies which they think may be able help us fixed wing aircraft was utilized of this area which should provide some very detailed imaging." said Suffolk County Chief of Detective Dominick Varrone.

The plane is expected to be back out Monday.. Meanwhile more bones were discovered Friday afternoon by divers, they are being examined by medical experts, but police sources tell PIX 11 News they are likey animal bones."
