BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11)—A former NYPD officer is reportedly a suspect in the missing case of his estranged wife who disappeared less than a week ago.
Tina Adovasio, 40, was last seen Friday at around 9 p.m. leaving the Throgs Neck home she shared with her husband, ex-cop Edwin Coello, the New York Daily News reported.
After 24 hours of not being heard from, Coello called police and reported his wife missing.
Police say Coello has since hired a lawyer following a round of questioning from investigators.
Published reports say the couple had a heated argument before Adovasio stormed off and disappeared. Coello is no stranger to controversy as records show he has been busted three times for domestic disputes involving Adovasio, the News reported.
Adovasio, a mother of four, is 5’5” tall and 135 lbs. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a pair of UGG boots.
