New York City: A stroll through Macy's Santaland
"Miracle on 34th Street," the best Santa Claus movie of them all, makes Macy's flagship store in New York City a must-see during the holidays. The 1947 film is all about testing Santa (real or fake?), with arch-rival department stores out to exploit his jolly old self.
Macy's Santaland, which is open through Christmas Eve, has talking trees, skiing penguins, model trains and Santa, all part of the free walk-through. You can snap your own photos with Santa or buy professional photo packages.
Here are some of the highlights of Santaland 2012. Happy holidays!
