Las Vegas: Pageants this month and next are things of beauty

Two pageants, both featuring beautiful and talented young women, are coming to Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in the next few weeks. The Miss Universe contest will be held Thursday (today) and Dec. 19. Miss America will be in the spotlight Jan. 8-12.
