Fort Lauderdale-based Silversea Cruises has announced a new series of 20 Grand Voyages on its intimate ultra-deluxe ships in 2012.
This special collection offers extended voyages from 24 to 64 days to diverse regions featuring visits to must-see traditional ports and exotic destinations off the beaten path.
Highlighting the Grand Voyages are savings incentives and a $1,500 per suite "Passport to Luxury" Onboard Spending Credit. Some of the voyages also include roundtrip economy airfare (from select gateway cities) and transfers between airport and pier on embarkation and disembarkation days.
Among the Grand Voyages is a 64-day South America & Rio Carnaval voyage on the Silver Spirit departing on Jan. 10 from Fort Lauderdale. Best-available fares start at $33,658 per person.
Cruise fare is the best-available starting fare for a Vista Suite, which is a cruise-only rate (based on double occupancy) and that may include Silver Savings of up to 60 percent, Extended Voyage Savings of five percent and Venetian Society (past passengers) savings of five percent.
Silver Savings fares are capacity-controlled, subject to availability and are likely to increase as the sailing date approaches. For a full list of itineraries, please visit www.silversea.com/destinations/grand-voyages.
