Universal Orlando has announced the schedule of performers for its Rock the Universe Christian-music concerts at Universal Studios on Sept. 7 and 8.
Set for Friday, Sept. 7, are Skillet, Newsboys, Jeremy Camp, for KING & COUNTRY, Family Force 5, Robert Pierre, Group 1 Crew, We As Human and Everfound.
Set for Saturday, Sept. 8. are Switchfoot, tobyMac, Relient K, Britt Nicole, tenth avenue north, Rhett Walker Band plus Friday performers Group 1 Crew, We As Human and Everfound.
Hours for Rock the Universe are 4 p.m.- 1 a.m. This is an extra-ticket event, one that's not included in regular Universal admission. Tickets are not yet on sale, but they will be offered in a variety of packages, including tickets for both nights or just one evening. Select attractions, including Revenge of the Mummy and the Simpsons Ride, will be operating during Rock the Universe nights. Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, a roller coaster that's riders pick the soundtracks, will be loaded with music by Christian artists, Universal says.
Rock the Universe also includes a candle-lighting ceremony on Saturday evening and three Sunday morning worship services.
