The promotion July 30 through Aug. 12 spotlights a butter lettuce and pear salad, steak with a sweet and spicy rub, a side of zucchini slaw and fresh peach cobbler for dessert. The sangria option has a South Seas flair with potent kicks from Sailor Jerry spiced rum and peach schnapps.
The selection Aug. 13-26 begins with a tomato and mozzarella salad, followed by steak topped with crispy gorgonzola and ending with lemon-poppy seed butter cookies with ice cream and warm apple-ginger sauce. The sangria takes on a sunset hue with a Red Diamond merlot base.
Fleming's has two Central Florida locations: 933 N. Orlando Ave. in Winter Park (407-699-9463) and 8030 Via Dellagio Way off Sand Lake Road in Orlando (407-352-5706).
At lunch, The Capital Grille has brought back the Wagyu premium cheeseburger with fried egg and crisp onions served on a buttery brioche bun and added a seared sea scallop option with sweet and sour tomatoes.
There is also a carrot ginger soup and tomato and watermelon salad with feta.
Guests can customize the lunches, choosing from 10 offerings that include soup or salad, a lunch entrée and a side for $18.
The Capital Grille (407-370-4392) is at 9101 International Drive in Orlando's Pointe Orlando.

Fish Out of Water truck gets nod from Cooking Light
The August issue of Cooking Light magazine has an article on five food trucks with healthier options. Orlando's Fish Out of Water was singled out for its classic eight-piece sushi rolls and avocado tower, a scoop of sushi rice with chunks of avocado, tuna, crab and swirls of eel and siracha sauces.
