Kelly, Notre Dame players in uncharted water

In the theater room of his home late Saturday, Brian Kelly watched everything in Notre Dame's way crumble like a dynamited wall, a great and galvanizing light hitting his eyes as it did. Kansas State lost. Oregon lost. A dozen or so family members and friends cheered with gusto.
