EL SERENO (KTLA) -- An innocent bystander was shot in his backside after another man confronted a group of taggers, police said Monday.
A homeowner on the 4900 block of Templeton Street observed a group of taggers on the street around 11:30 p.m Sunday.
When he went outside to confront them, the suspects ran into a van and began shooting as they drove away.
Witnesses said they fired about a half-dozen rounds.
According to police, a bystander was hit in the rear and was treated on scene.
The homeowner was not hit.
The suspects are still at large.
