BURBANK, Calif. (KTLA) -- Tina D. of Burbank is California's newest millionaire, thanks to her husband and his California Lottery's $10 Scratchers ticket.
Tina was given her big winning ticket by her husband, a long-time Lottery player.
He bought the ticket, scratched it, and when he saw he was holding a million dollar winner, he promptly called his wife, whom he wisely referred to as "the boss."
The couple plans to buy a home and a car with their winnings.
The lucky ticket was purchased at Vista Liquor at 2415 North San Fernando Boulevard in Burbank.
The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the top prize-winning ticket.
