HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KTLA) -- RapperNicki Minaj had a confrontation with a woman who may have been her former maid at her home Thursday afternoon that warranted a visit from authorities, TMZ has reported.
The dispute arose when Minaj's maid, who was reportedly fired several weeks ago after taking photo of the pop singer out of her trash and asking her to sign it, returned to her home around 4 p.m. Thursday.
TMZ reports that Minaj asked the woman to leave, but she refused, saying she did not want to be "treated like an animal, to which Minaj replied, "I'll show you how to treat someone like an animal -- get the f*** out of my house!"
The woman reportedly alerted authorities after Minaj's boyfriend became involved and pushed her.
When authorities arrived at Minaj's home, the woman initially asked to make a citizen's arrest before deciding not to pursue it.
No one was taken into custody.
Some reports indicate that the woman who arrived at Minaj's home Thursday was not the same woman she fired several weeks ago, and that the incident had resulted from a case of mistaken identity.
