LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- "Clueless" actress Alicia Silverstone is drawing mixed reactions for a new video that shows her feeding her baby in an unusual way.
The 35-year-old vegan star posted the video on her website and on YouTube.
In the video, you see her chewing up some food and then spitting it into her son's mouth -- the way a mother bird feeds her chicks.
"It's his favorite" way to eat, she wrote in the post, "and mine."
So much so, that Bear seems to expect a snack when he catches Silverstone noshing on something.
"He literally crawls across the room to attack my mouth if I'm eating," she added. "The video was taken about a month or two ago when he was a bit wobbly. Now he is grabbing my mouth to get the food!"
Silverstone says 11-month-old Bear Blu loves it, but doctors warn she could infect her son with viruses or bacteria.
