PORTLAND, Ore. -- With the Olympics in full swing, it seems the Summer Games are on everyone's mind here in Portland. To get closer to the action, most people stay glued to their TV. But others are heading out to local pubs for atmosphere and authentic local fare. Tim Joyce reports:
The Highland Stillhouse Scottish Pub featured in this report is located at 201 South 2nd Street in Oregon City. The other pubs mentioned are downtown Portland's Thirsty Lion, located at 71 Southwest 2nd Avenue, the Irish Town Bar and Grill in Vancouver, located at 11600 Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard, and the Dublin Pub in Beaverton, located at 6821 Southwest Beaverton Hillsdale Highway.
