2012 Chicago Jazz Festival

The 34th annual event, billed as the city's longest-running lakefront music fest, kicked off Thursday, August 30, with afternoon concerts at the Chicago Cultural Center and Millennium Park. Saturday and Sunday the festival moves to Grant Park. Headliners this year include Roy Haynes, Dianne Reeves and Allen Toussaint. Admission is free.
