HAWTHORNE (KTLA) -- A company based in Hawthorne is recalling 34,373 pounds of organic ground beef products because they may be contaminated with E. coli bacteria.
First Class Foods Inc. says company sampling yielded a positive result for E. coli.
The affected packages were produced on December 7 and 16. They were shipped to stores in California, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Washington State.
The packages have the establishment number "EST. 18895."
There have been no reports of illnesses associated with the products.
